The New LoneStar Mix: A Texas Tribute That Probably Has Nothing To Do With Texas

Hey guys, hope life is rad by you. I'm headed to Texas for the first time ever later on this week (SXSW what what), so I figured I would whip up a new mix to commemorate the trip. I have no idea if DFA-style dance punk / disco and quasi-rave tracks really capture the spirit of Texas or are more suitable for NYC clubs and walking around here at night, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Oh yeah and on the DCD Collective front: We have a couple of shows coming up in the near future, one of which happens a couple days after I get back from Tejas. We'll be DJing inbetween sets and the afterparty for a lineup the Monumints are putting together out in The Production Lounge in Greenpoint on 3/20, and then on 4/2 we're DJing all night at our home base Fontana's in the LES/Chinatown to kick Spring off right.
